Hi, I’m new! I’m 21 and use she/they pronouns. I’m neurodivergent learning disabled and a victim survivor of DV from childhood. I’m behind my peers which often makes me feel depressed but Im learning I’m not alone and doing everything at my pace. My user is based off panda from we bare bears. I won a plushie of him in a claw machine the day after a queer soiree I helped organise happened so I named him soiree. He comes to my psychologist appointments with me.
So if you see me around, um yeah that’s me.

Welcome @Soireethepanda , i LOVE the story behind your username! 😊🥰😍. I love stuffed toys, unashamedly, so i especially love it for that too.
For xmas i suggested to my family to buy me a stuffes toy anteater (zoo fundraiser item) in honour of my dog who has a long nose also 😅. I'm mid-30's.
Sorry to hear you experinced DV as a child; something i wish no human had to ever endure and especially children. I know there are a number of others here also who have had DV experiences and children and/or adults.
Also, lots of neurodiversity here on the forums too! 🥰 which i love. I am not "diagnosed ND" but it is definitely recognosied socially that i am not neuro-typical 🤣; i am "just me" and unashamedly my quirky self - hence my username @AlwaysMyself .

Welcome to the forums. I am also a DV survivor from childhood. I am currently working through some of the stuff I went through with my psychologist. I only just found out that I have ADHD a couple of months ago after wondering for some time. My psychologist did the questionnaire with me and there was no doubt. I am 55 and I love teddies. I love that you are being yourself and not being afraid of judgement (taking your Panda to appointments). To help you with all things posting, please visit this

Welcome @Soireethepanda you will find a wonderful group of people on here, who I find very caring, non-judgemental and supportive. I am in my mid 50's and from a DV childhood and unfortunately because of the cycle, followed me into 3 of my adult relationships. Through doing workshops I have learnt how to recognise what behaviour is abuse. So now I am equipped to make better choices and set firm boundaries.
