gentle hugs my friend, it is so hard when our parents get old, im dreading it with my mum as she ages, im glad you are reevaluating things, have you thought about getting some help in to help you as you are not in good health either, there is a new service called mable, might be worth a look @Shaz51

Also I had to have a Fistula mapping in my arm ready for the dialysis machine in the near future which made us start thinking

yes i read that post @Shaz51 my mum will need dialisis in the next few years, her kidneys are failing too, do you have a dialisis unit in your town? we have one in mine but mum will have to travel 1 hour 1 way to get to a unit that has space. so many people have dialisis now, i hope it works for you.

The specialist said I can do the dialysis machine in my own home  @Jacques

I know that I have been absent..

I have needed to be..

I want to reassure you that people with dementia remember old quotes out of the blue and usually do not apply at the time that one would expect...She might be remembering a conversation in her mind from the past....

I have experience of dementia with a friend who can come out with something so direct that it could be deemed as hurtful from another..

Anything that you hear....even if directed at you is a contortion of her memory and her illness..

You must remember this...

We are losing 3 of our regular jobs befor Christmas  . Arggggggg

Yes we are in shock , my @Jynx , feeling it is soo I hard at the moment 

Well less work for next year and more caring duties for my mum 

Had 2 glasses of wine  so far and having no more even though we love too 

Total surprise I must say arrrggggg 😟
