can get local newspapers and some treats as well maybe.  thinking jim beam and real coke re treats lol since drunk 3x in last 36 days WTAF lol

Good luck @StuF hope your kidneys will be ok. My kidney function was down last lot of bloods. You will know soon enough what the problem is. Sounds like you are on top of things with your tests. Did the doc indicate anything about your kidneys or just told you to go ahead and do tests?

I know what it like to be really sick @TAB my health still isn't the best after being an invalid for 8 years on a powerful psych injection which sucked the life out of me. You have my solidarity TAB. I know its hard living this way and the discouragement and disappointment it brings

My creatinine levels are high re kidneys. But have been for years. Saw a specialist back then, but she decided in the end there was no real reason to do anything more than keep an eye on it. My haematologist recently reckoned it was worth more investigation, so my new kidney specialist is just ticking all the boxes. It's likely a medication thing.

The lady doing the ultrasound did venture that it looked pretty good at first glance.

I see the specialist in a couple of weeks

All these expenses seeing specialists @StuF You just went to the dentist recently. I don't know how you manage it financially. At least with your new job extra money is coming in but its sooo hard on a pension! I hope it doesn't set you back too much!
