Yeah, tech can be tricky to get rid of. We had a mob here that picked up and recycled/refurbished etc electronics and so on. Got rid of an old PC monitor that way. Of course, they went bust

But even recycling is annoying. Is there an Officeworks in big town that you can drop them off at, to at least keep the batteries out of landfill?
