G'day. I was recently granted DSP for my CPTSD and the whole process was extremely stressful and pushed me beyond my limits of control or what felt like anyway,I am writing this for advice please ,I'm getting a lot of black outs and taking it out on my partner,I feel that I am so needy,I think I've pushed him further away, everything I've put him through, how could he really love me anyway,I'm pretty bloody broken ,right at the moment. Will it ever get better ?Any advice please. Thanks for listening ,have a beautiful day.

Hey @Aqua88, thanks for sharing your experiences with the community!
Sounds like you are going through a tough time with your MH and how it's impacting your partner. It takes courage to reach out to your peers here on the Forums, and you are brave for being vulnerable.
I have not had a partner throughout my MH journey, but a couple of partners did leave me for my behaviours very early on, when I had psychotic episodes. I believe that the community will have some insights to share with you about similar situations.
Congratulations for being granted the DSP!! I was on the DSP for many years and it supported me while I returned to work which was amazing.
Thanks again for sharing your experiences!
Take care

Thankyou @RiverSeal
You're welcome.
Apparently I'm not "supposed" to be in a relationship according to my councillor. So maybe she was right. It's been a rough year, that we've been together. And I now have a DVO out on myself!_ Very sadly
Mabey it's the relationship, contributing, along with everything else ,that's happened.
I hope things smooth out a bit now.
Peace
✨

How did you get onto DSP? I also have CPTSD and the extra income would really help paying for treatment. TIA
