I gave Piper extra goals today. One is to stand up for 15 secs and the other was to say the name of someone who cares for me.

We are getting his haircut today. 

I casually used the wren app this morning @Oaktree but it was lovely using first instructions for the day so paid up.

So at the beginning of Sane forums it felt very different than it is now. Does anyone remember nic nic and cherry bomb and Farenzi ? It felt like after so so many years - someone cared about being very vulnerable. I'm t was personally overwhelming for me. Almost too much. 

I made many mistakes. 

But today - I'm sure @Appleblossom etc will agree -

I paid 64 and I'm in today. 

I'm going to show my therapist today.

She said she's just seeing a 23 yr old girl who has a mother similar to mine. 

I'm going to tell my therapist that @tyme suggested the finch app. 

After all these years - I'm completely aware that mum lies to me. Thank goodness. It's very freeing how I'm living my OWN life. It's taken so many years to understand how a mother could bully me out of my home.

It was great. 

I realised something about Sane forums too. 

Did you know - I don't know if anyone will remember or agree with me -

@PeppyPatti I'm sorry your mum did that to you, families can be so toxic, my mother and family did the opposite, me being an open book and affected by workplace PTSD, depression & anxiety, believed their lies and deception and I allowed them to poison my mind, my relationship and my life. Everything was destroyed and they're off in the distance with a false impression that they have me under their power again, to use and abuse as they see fit. This is why I'm building in secret so they don't know where to attack.

It warms my heart to read that you've survived all that was thrown at you.

I'll second the round of applause to the mods and everyone behind the scenes that makes this forum happen. As a former charity worker myself, I know first hand how confronting some peoples stories, situations and lives can be, thankyou for having the strength and perseverance to continue helping us all.

I can only imagine the number of lives saved and changed for the better as a result of everyone's efforts!

I loved reading your message.

I just stayed with the free version of finch. There is a lot of stuff that I can use anyway. I love Sane and third what you said about the moderation team. Definitely best of the best. They have probably learnt and evolved over time. I have only been with Sane 4 years so don’t know what the early days were like. Your puppy is so cute. I want a cuddle!

@avant-garde oh wow, it's not nice is it? I hope the extractions have gone to plan, I had dry socket with one of my teefs, it was horrid.

Are you going to get implants, a plate, dentures? I am looking at getting a plate and using my super to pay for it.
